Grand Banks Yachts was founded in 1956. Since then they have been building beautiful yachts with classic designs. In 1980, the Amicale Grand Banks West-Europe was established. An event marking the first gathering of Grand Banks owners, organised in Belgium. Two years later, this get together took place in the Netherlands for the first time. Since then, the Amicale’s fleet has grown to no fewer than 93 yachts with its members coming from Belgium, Germany, England, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. The Amicale has a number of regular trips on the annual including tours and the annual Spring Dinner and Rendez-Vous. DMS Holland is very proud to be sponsoring this club once again.

Grand Banks trawlers are seaworthy, displacement yachts with a cruising speed of around 9 knots. And that makes them the perfect candidate for our MagnusMaster stabiliser! For us, the icing on the cake, is that the former chairman of the Amicale has recently placed an order for a MagnusMaster stabiliser for his own Grand Banks yacht! The system has now been delivered and DMS Holland wishes the family many comfortable nautical miles.
