In late October, six members of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group, amongst whom was DMS Holland’s Patrick Noor, took part in a trade mission to Spain. The aim of this mission was to introduce the Dutch maritime suppliers’ quality products to the Spanish (refit) yards.

On Friday October 20th, the group traveled down to Mallorca. Whilst there they attended the annual PINMAR Golf Event during the weekend. On the Monday and Tuesday of the trip, each of the members made individual business visits to various refit yards in Mallorca and Barcelona including, amongst others, a visit to the largest and most famous refit yard in Spain, MB92.

The members were pleasantly surprised by the opportunities lying within the Spanish refit market.

This trade mission took part with the close cooperation of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce / Enterprise Europe Network, the Mallorcan Chamber of Commerce and the Netherlands Business Support Office Barcelona.
