“We were on the way back to the Netherlands with our boat, a Jetten 50. As we were between Langeland and Kiel we encountered gusts of wind up to force 7 and waves 2 metres high, perpendicular to the boat. The ship turned out to be incredibly seaworthy. We surfed down the waves. Even in these tough circumstances, the rotor system we have on board reduced the sideways motion of the vessel down to zero.”
“I have already experienced a great deal of choppy water and waves with De Zwarte Ruiter. 2 weeks ago, during a weekend in Rotterdam, it was the Steam Power Event in Dordrecht and as a result, it was very busy on the water with speed boats, water taxis to / from Rotterdam and very choppy water. De Zwarte Ruiter was pretty keen to roll but she just couldn’t. It may well have cost money, but it’s worth it. My wife Cobie and I are of course very very happy with it. As I said from the beginning, it’s just like sailing on smooth tarmac.”
“When I heard about a new roll damping system which involved people who are very experienced in this field, I was immediately interested. Our customers also showed a great interest in the system following DMS Holland’s presentation during our open day in March 2013. In mid May, I went on a sea trial on board of the RotorSwing demonstration vessel M.Y. Tessera. I was impressed by the performance of the system. Alongside the excellent roll damping you also have easy installation, the attractive price and the fact that the system is electric and very quiet. These are, in my opinion, simply great benefits. We now have the RotorSwing system included as an option in the specification for our ships.”
“Recently I had the pleasure of testing RotorSwing onboard a test vessel on the North Sea. With regards to performance, I can be brief. As soon as the system is turned on, with one push of a button, it works immediately and to its full capacity and effectiveness. The system is very easy to operate and is “fool proof”. It really is as simple as that and it just can’t go wrong. In my opinion, the system has some great advantages over its competitors and it includes all the features and factors to make RotorSwing a success. We are very excited about this system and we will be offering and promoting it to our customers, for both our displacement yachts as well as our fast sailing yachts aluminum.”
“We have decided to include the RotorSwing roll damping system in the specification for the Jetten 50 because this product fits in perfectly with Jetten Yachting’s objective: to ensure that the owner can absolutely enjoy their yacht to its full potential. Good stabilizers increase comfort and safety on board and therefore, we always advise our customers to install them. We are continuously looking out for new and improved technology and were immediately very interested in the RotorSwing when DMS Holland introduced the product to us earlier this year. For us, the main key advantages that we see in the system are the compact installation, the simple operation, the attractive price and of course, the excellent roll damping. “
“We are delighted with the RotorSwing stabilizers on board ‘Mette’, our Linssen range Cruiser 450. It is a system that we truly recommend everybody installs as it is simply extremely comfortable to sail with such stability. The boat stays on course and this is especially noticeable when we are sailing, for example, on the river Waal where there are a lot of commercial vessels. Yesterday we sailed on the Rhine where there was 27 knots of wind and tidal current. There were quite some waves and yet, my wife Annet, sat knitting away (or some such hobby!) and my cup of coffee just stayed right in its place! “
We have a lot of experience with installing stabilizers and cruising on open water. We are happy that Jonkers Yachts has been appointed by DMS Holland as a dealer and installer of MagnusMaster. In Zeeland a lot of Linssen yachts are already cruising with a rolldamping system. Welcome on Board!
“Steeler Yachts recommands the MagnusMaster stabilizing system of DMS Holland. Due to her retractable system, this stabiliser is perfect for offshore yachts that also intend to cruise on inland (small, tiny and shallow) waters. After one year of operation on the Steeler NG57 S we can confirm the excellent performance of the system.” In Januari 2017 Steeler Yachts will install a MagnusMaster system on the first Steeler NG50 S which will sail both, inshore and offshore.
